Frequency of the Board Meetings and Academic Advisory Body
The Board meetings are held whenever necessary. Normally it meets every three months. The Academic Advisory Body meets every six months at the end of semesters of the Institute. 


Organisational Chart and Processes
The functions of each officer are clearly defined and notified. The instructions flow from top to bottom and execution /compliance flows from bottom to top. 

Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs /improvement
The syllabus prescribed by the Affiliating University is followed. We have made subject co-ordination committees which consist of Faculty members and the students. Feedback about the teaching in the class is obtained through the students representative and corrective measures where necessary are taken to improve the quality of teaching. 

Mechanism,/Norms & Procedure for democratic /good governance
The Management has constituted various committees of the faculty members to look after different activities for smooth running of the Institute. There is a management committee which consists of Chairman, RIT, Vice-Chairman, RIT, Director General, Director, HODs and the Registrar is the Member Secretary. All the staff and faculty members are free to send their issues/proposals to the Member Secretary and these are discussed in the Meeting. There is a suggestion box provided at the prominent place in the building, and the members can put their suggestion in the box which is kept confidential and these suggestions are looked into seriously. 

Students feed back on Institutional Governance /faculty performance
There is a proctorial board which frequently interacts with the students and listen to their frank feedback. Student Seniors have been nominated for each class and they are called frequently by the Director to make enquiries about the governance and faculty performance. 
Corrective measures are taken where necessary.
Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students
the institute is in the growing stages. The students, faculty and staff as free accessible to the Chairman, Director, Proctor and the grievances are heard patiently and corrective measures taken.

VIII. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions to the First year B.Tech. Programme shall be done through the counseling which is conducted by the Utarakhand Technical University on the basis AIEEE rankings.

Admission to the IInd year B. Tech. ( IIIrd semester) through lateral entry from Diploma / B.Sc. streams, shall be done through Counseling to be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University on the basis of merit obtained in the Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Examination ( UTUEE).

Admission to the first year of Master of Computer Application (MCA) shall again be done through Counseling to be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University on the basis of merit obtained in the Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Examination ( UTUEE).

Admission to first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme will, however be processed through Management Aptitutde Test (MAT) organized by All India Management Association New-Delhi. Those who have CAT score will also be eligible for admission. 

The Uttarakhand quota is 50% of the seats and All India quota is 35% of the approved intake. 15% seats are in the Management quota. Admission against the Management Quota seats, in each programme will be done in the Institute strictly on the basis of merit drawn from amongst those who get themselves registered with the Institute. The counseling under this category shall be as per the policy of the University/ State Govt. The Registration form could be down loaded from the Institute's website and submitted to the Institute duly completed or apply online.

Number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified candidates separately (AIEEE/CET( State conducted test/University tests/Association conducted test)All the admissions are based on AIEEE / UTUEE Rank in B.Tech. and MCA Programmes . In MBA admissions are based on MATor CAT score.

The policy of the refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal, will be strictly followed as per the guidelines issued by Uttarakhand Technical University. 


IX. CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION
Describe each criteria with its respective weight ages i.e. Admission Test, marks in qualifying Examination.

All the admissions are based on AIEEE / UTUEE Rank or MAT score in B.Tech. MCA & MBA respectively. There is no separate weightage for marks in qualifying examination.
