ACADEMICS

This is achieved by several proactive steps as outlined below:

  • Integration of PDP, communication skills and other value addition programs into the curricula.
  • Emphasis on hands-on experience, increase of innovations and research temper through lab experiments.
  • Sharing of students in the institute’s governance for developing traits of headship.
  • Regular students’ contribution in games, sports and their competitions under sports officer as Nodal officer.
  • Organization of a range of technical events.
  • Organization of various mixed student activities.
  • Regular feedback of students and class representatives on quality of education and subsequent corrective action.
  • Regular feedback from faculty on progress of the syllabi and other aspects of quality teaching.
  • Identification of weak as well as bright students and extra coaching to them.
  • Incentive and encouragement to deserving faculty on the basis of students' feedback and result of university examination.
  • At least one industrial visit each semester for 2nd & 3rd year students.
  • Monthly guest lectures on latest technology/technological development.
  • Rewards and incentives for position holder students.
  • Special seminar and workshop on ethics, morals and values for character building of students.
